SN Power - Powering development through renewable energy

The SN Power business model involves gaining footholds in emerging markets with substantial hydropower potential and energy needs, in order to build a leading position in the country or region.

Core markets are Asia and Latin America and through the subsidiary Agua Imara, SN Power is also present in Africa and Central America. These markets are all expected to show a strong increase in power demand and are poised to privatise and deregulate their national and regional power markets.

SN Power currently has 16 operating hydropower plants in its portfolio and ten more in various stages of planning and development. In 2009, the company also opened its first wind farm in Chile.
