Malpaso

The Malpaso hydropower plant is a regulation plant in view of its large storage capacity that makes it possible to increase or decrease the energy produced based on demand requirements. It is located in the district of Paccha, at 3,870 masl.


The hydropower plant is located in the Yauli province, at a hight of 4,031 metres above sea level. The plant consists of three generation units with a total capacity of 54 MW.
